For optimal viewing of the images on this site, you will need to adjust your monitor to the greyscale step tablet shown below. The images are best viewed at 24 bit colour and with a monitor resolution of 1024 X 768 or higher.

Adjust the brightness and contrast controls of your monitor so that you can see each step separately. Make the darkest step as dark as possible while still being able to distinguish it from the next lighter step. If you can accomplish this with your monitor contrast set to maximum then do so.
